So i know there is a lot of these around. But this is definately not a flake one at all. First off, it takes care of the $network issue for random servers. So you dont have to specify the exact sub-server, because it will take care of it for you. Second off, it doesn't just join channels, and servers, but you can also use connection commands for if your an operator, and you need to /oper, or other..
Here's a nice autojoin tool I've made - it is NOT complete; consider this as a BETA version. Use the menu (right click channel -> Autojoin) and add channels you wish to join on connect- separate these channels with commas (,). Example, #example,#example1,#example2, etc. You can choose to clear the list, and to check the list. Too update your list, click check, and add those plus the new ones. To..
This code performs several functions: 1) Keeps tracks of channel keys. When the key of a channel that you are on changes, the script records that and saves the information in a file. This also saves the key of any channels that you join. Whenever you want to rejoin that channel, but you get an error saying you need a key, the script automatically joins the channel with the previously saved key. 2)..
i updated it made it better let me know what you think ..i know this is still a useless script but i was bored and a friend asked for it was made for use on only one site at a time. Put in remotes and add roomnames after the # and when you connect to a site it will automatically bring you to that room.
Simple auto-join script with a dialog to manage networks and channels. This auto-join script lets you have different channels for different networks, because you don't obviously idle in the same channels on every network. I made this because I got lazy and didn't want to have to keep typing out '/join #channel.'
This is actually a snippet from a much larger project called "XeroBot" im working on. However I couldn't find a bot autojoin system on here that suited my taste's specifically, So I decided to code my own, aswell as release it here for you guys to critique/user/whatever. Everything should function correctly, had to do a LITTLE butchering to it to make it stand alone, as the full snippet use's alot..
Auto Connect/Join/Identify v1.0 [ source: http://www.hawkee.com/snippet/565/ ] had a lot of features and was easy to use, but unfortunately it had a lot of bugs and was written REALLY badly (Sorry to the author, but come on, hard coding 50 join statements for 5 servers each with 10 channels each is absurd).
