mIRC Active channel mode meanings dialog

By GrimReaper on Mar 08, 2011

This is a little dialog with meaning's of channel mode's thanks to /helpop ?chmodes

Right click on the channel and select "Channel Modes by Danneh" and it will work after a few seconds.

Danneh is my other nickname on another network.

I will update this later to work when you change the channel while the dialog is open.. But I have no internet at home at the moment so it's a little harder to do than expected.

menu channel,status {
  Channel Modes by Danneh:$iif($active == Status Window,noop $input(Please select an active channel.,o),dialog $iif($dialog(chan_modes),-v,-m chan_modes) chan_modes)

I did that for a reason, If someone thought about opening it but not realising they are looking at the Status Window, Then it would show an error..

I know it could happen because it's happened before with one of my friends. lol

Just a quandry here. If it is to be used in a channel then why have the option "Status" in the menu?

Thanks for the idea Jethro_, I will look about making the snippet slightly smaller.. I haven't had a chance to be on that much recently as I've been without internet.

Luckily I have Unreal3.2 on my laptop so I use localhost to connect and mess about. lol

Yeah jaytea I forgot about the id numbers and commas. Well, it was just an example.

Jethro, you need commas in between multiple IDs with /did

You can use:

did -v chan_modes $replacecs(%chanmodes,c,3,i,4,m,5,n,6,p,7,r,8,s,9,t,10,z,11,A,12,C,13,G,14,M,15,K,16,N,17,O,18,Q,19,R,20,S,21,T,22,V,23,u,24)

etc...instead of a bunch of vertical if statements.
