Latest mIRC versions have its inbuilt updater located under the "Help" tab, where people can click on it to check for updates. Personally I don't see the potential usefulness of it, but consider this add-on as a sugarcoated updater to replace mIRC's. I nevertheless do applaud the author's effort in making it.
