Well, I modernized it quite a bit (with 4.x) to add lots of options like multi-network support, blowfish encryption, automated lists (op/hop/voice/etc), channel protection, new xdcc system (where 'xdcc send list' sends a .txt listing of files), etc. I noticed there was a lacking of dialogs so that's really been my focus for these versions.. I implemented dialogs for a lot of features that were popup based (and in process of doing so for next version). My future goal would be to port Polaris to mIRC v7.x. A more comprehensive list of overall features is at http://polaris.sitesled.com/features.html . There have been TONS of changes in code not reflected anywhere however. I can say I'm quite happy that it's been a bug free script for a very long time and is most definitely more than a file serving script these days. I'm happy to know there are some old school people still using IRC.... I can honestly say that all of my friends from the late 90's/early 00's are no longer on IRC and more or less plain ol' disappeared a very long time ago. :( Hope everyone is doing well. RIP #Warez-Central @ DALnet :)
Also it's very nice to see that even now mIRC has an active scripting/development community (despite the massive amount of users that have moved onto social networking/instant messanger type stuff).
