By Renegade on May 24, 2009

Another wimpy little snippet :D

Someone whoises you on a server where you have an o:line (correct masks apply)

Logs into an @window

Boring thing I made ages ago.

on *:SNOTICE:*whois on you*: {
  window -e @whois {
    echo -ti2 @whois 7>4Attention7< $day $date $server 14 $1-
  }
}

Cut me some slack, will ya? I've consider myself a serious-minded "person," and from time to time we all can use a bit of silliness, regardless of how unfunny or ludicrous it seems. Life is too short to not enjoy playing with our inner child. The saying "Host with the most" is just a jargon term to mean that you're a person with everything you have, sort of above others in terms of power.

Ooh that sucks napa182, i once ''whois'' a person who was an owner of a room in the server && that person knew, so i thought this script was quite similar to its.
&& Jethro_ , Why do i feel like if i DO repeat what you say, i still will end up nowhere and just make a fool of myself? :)
&& Anyways i have no idea what that line means.

Person, repeat after me: "I'm the host with the most!"

Person, it means you need to be a server operator or net admin on the server not a +o user in a channel.
only server admins can give you a user mode of +W if they are nice.

First you need to be an irc operator, Person, or if you're not one, you may need to be set with the mode +W for this code to work...I know, it's a shame. This may not work for all networks...

This will only work with the +W flag on unrealircd.

Will also work for normal users if an oper sets the +W flag for them, like oper helpers.

Erm... something like this:

on 1:snotice:*whois on you*: {
/kill $2 <insert witty saying here>
}

y333 that should work, haven't tested however.

I see this as pointless, :S but... BUTTT most server owners hate this kind of power useage... but meh.

How do you kill people who whois you??
When someone whois you, how do you kill that person as soon as he did the whois on you?
