:D Glad it's impressing so many people, lol..
@A careful warchild; are you jordy or John... I'm guessing john, I get so confused.
Meh, doesn't matter, I was just trying to show a simplified example, I didn't mean for it work, but to show what could be done instead of taking a paragraph to explain.
But thanks :)
P.S I know I've completely invalidated my whole point now haven't I ~_~
I like it.. I see alot of these things about.. but I like this one.
Good job, and it works which is a bonus, lol. I like to really space my codes out aswell.. it just looks a little neater to me.
If it works, don't worry about it I say :P
I dislike how everyone is beggining to get into this 'trend' of pushing everything onto one line now :/
on *:TEXT:*IRC scripting*:#:{
goto $location(desk) {
describe $chan rambles
}
else {
mode $chan +sigh
}
}
:D
Er sorry getting sidetracked, 7/10 it works :D and before someone picks that apart >_> I know okay.
Doesn't mIRC have this thing? However I like the idea of quarterop and forthop.
Perhaps you could add the said users to a .ini, or your mIRC script usertab and run a seperate code to allow them to kick (forthop) and ban (quarterop) :), to develop it further, it's a thought.
5/10 based on potential to develop.
I agree with spanky, lol, but this is how people learn I guess.
Perhaps you could make if for multiple servers aswell, encorporate that into the idea, for instance:
on *:connect:{
if ($network == Fake-IRC) {
ns identify password
join #
}
elseif ($network == AnotherFake-IRC) {
ns identify A different password
}
}
This way checks what network you're on, and does the appropiate actions.
And you could keep going basically, with elseifs.
I hope this helps. 6/10 for effort :)
BTW: There's no need for the /
@WorldDMT: Thanks for replying to Err0r007 lol.
@Err0r007: I dislike banning, I try to avoid it all ways possible, I honestly think a kick is enough punishment s: I just really dislike autorejoin lol
are you one of those people who gline people over breaking a rule even if they didn't know it was a rule? Not really s: I'm kind of known for being the one who breaks the rules, lol... but servers I have olines on, nah, I don't believe in IRCop's getting involved unless they must...
