By PuffGirl on Nov 22, 2005

This snippet makes you write in morse code, and translates morse code to our alphabet.

Talke morse: Just enable the option on your popup menubar, and everything you type will be encoded.

Translate: Type /morse Ex: /morse .-.. .- .-.. .- .-.. .- will return in echo "l a l a l a"

P.S: doesn't work for numbers or pontuation. Only normal letters from A to Z

Cheiron, there are websites that do the converting between morse codes and English letters. Here is one found via google:http://www.onlineconversion.com/morse_code.htm A socket script may be made to pull the info from the site.

ok.. this is not a bad code actually... it would be nice if anyone can actually make it work in reverse though
so if it sees morse it converts it to letters so you can see whats been typed in morse
