OK.. i have nice broken down simplified connect / nick change / quit / version script running for some new staff so they dont overwhelmed by the main services scroll but i'm looking for a standalone section please to run from the connection side so that we can do a whowas based from the connecting ip and it shows the last 10 nicks used on that ip please. the script i am looking for is to be triggered..
Looking to return info based on the hotlink command but what used to work with the old mirc 6.35 and unrealircd 3.2 series, no longer works with the new mirc 7.55 or unrealircd 4 series. So far.. changing the gline to //echo -a gives me this .. tunix18 (~U2FsdGVkX@eagle.netsplit.de) depending on where i click.. if i click an ip .. it gives me the ip inside of square brackets ie [123.23.23.123] I want..
I would like a new script please for mirc 6.35. It will be a dual purpose script to show what port / server a user is on only... no other information. ie /showport user = user is connected on server - blah and is using port - blah.
The output for this to be shown in a fixed channel = #Opers
Non ssl port users will have text in red. ssl port users will be shown in green text.
The other part to the script will be for me to see and return what port and client i am on via echo. ie /myport
The only other information i think you might need on this... all of us opers have to be on ssl by default to get oline.
We're on unrealircd 3.2.10 and anope 2 series
Script wont work for us... have followed the instructions and stuff.. we have got the +tweet , -tweet working.. but it wont recognise the //say .AddAuth $encode(TwitterName:TwitterPassword,m) command and locks the bot clean up
Looking for a mirc script please for the older mirc v6.35
I am looking for a script that will allow helpops and higher to leave a memo for each other..
I know there is memoserv ... but we are after one that is mirc driven but only for said ranks to be able to leave a message for each other if they are offline.
The script holder will be be either a HelpOp or have an oline of some description.
I need the script to be able to encrypt the message so that the user hosting the script cannot see the messages being sent.. only the user that sends it and the user that receives it. When the helpop/oper comes online to a named channel .. the script is to pm them to let them know they have a memo
Commands to be
!HelpMemo Send, !HelpMemo Read, !HelpMemo Del
Many thanks
A long while back.. MountainDew made a Hawkee site script for mirc so users could search for scripts on this site via a bot http://www.hawkee.com/snippet/4164/
As the site has been totaly re-vamped now.. could someone possibly overhaul or make a new version to work with the new hawkee site please for a mirc 6.35 bot

Do you use editors for coding ... notepad++ , leafpad, etc etc ..?
A good one to check out that covers alot of different coding languages is Bluefish editor
The url for this editor is http://bluefish.openoffice.nl/index.html
it's wiki is http://bfwiki.tellefsen.net/index.php/Main_Page
and it supports Linux, FreeBSD, MacOS-X, Windows, OpenBSD and Solaris.
I know this is off the scale a bit... but to all googlemail/gmail users..
I would visit your account settings and change your passwords and make sure enable https always is set on and extra security measures set asap..
As some of you may or may not know, i teach I.T here in the uk and it has come to my attention today that gmail accounts are being subject to hacking from a multidue of ips across the globe. I had an attempt on mine and i had at least 4 customers into the shop today with same problems..
Just a heads up for you folks :)
@Hawkee http://www.hawkee.com/snippet/9347/ got another flooding script posted .. and its the ClonesX one
ok found the error and its when you try and cancel the timers.. as there wasnt a cancel button for the timed globals i has inadertantly clicked the send timed global button thinking it woud stop the message. when in fact it was adding extra.
simple fix needed.. dialogue button for cancel timed globals with the /timers off action :)
you can also do an alias based save using a bot...
on your mirc on a clean remote
on *:input:#: {
if ($$1 === +m) { .timer 1 1 mode $active +m }
if ($$1 === -m) { .timer 1 1 mode $active -m }
}
command simply be typing on your mirc +m or -m
and ensuring you have ops on said channel
otherwise neat code and does what it says.
I now use this on 4 networks and have 5 different opers using this code independantly since me and punky got the main issues out of the way through testing and him fixing.
one point i would like to make clear though that is omitted is on the IRCop Chat interface...
to keep clutter down .. untick locops and globops otherwise it will fill with server spam very quickly.
to do this .. open the IrcOP Chat Interface and in the top left corner .. click config and untick the 2 boxes i just mentioned
also you may notice when you set glines or view spamfilters etc .. in status you get error messages
ignore these as its due to a timer on the reload of the items on the dialogue. it has no impact on the running of the code.
nicklist and channel forbid.. you may notice this will ONLY list 50 max on each.. this is hard set on anope's services.conf .. if you want it to show more, then you need to hard edit that block and restart services.
i have found one bug for PuNkTuReD to fix however .. thats on the global interface.
when you set a global on timer it send the message twice each time not once.
otherwise, i've had no complaints from any of the opers i have given this code too prior to PuNkTuReD releasing it here so its a like and 10/10 mate.
