Mine as well, Hawkee. I've read one book and it's been extremely helpful, because it teaches proper orthogonality and other programming conventions, called "Pragmatic Programmer. "
I've also seen "Code Complete 2" recommended, and "The Design of Everyday Things," which is not programming but is recommended frequently regardless.
Can't say that I have a favorite. I generally tend to get all my coding information online.
