I, too, like the idea. The coding can be tidied up a little, e.g. /msg can simple be msg. I think sending a whole text file by dcc is a little cumbersome (as already mentioned). A facility for reporting a comment by nick (eg where a person can search for a comment by a nick); or last comment; or comment by topic or key word would be nice. Perhaps you could include those and still leave the file send option if needed. Having a quote system where people can leave their comments to be quoted on a list might be a nice touch(?)... A nice interactive idea for a channel.
