greetings peoples I am in need of advice and lots of help, just call me that noob :) I have been putting in charge of running the scripts and one of my roles is to change the topic if not everyday everyother. My question is can Rider91 script above have a timmer put in for a start and the next question is and here the really noob part. would I be right in saying where it says "Enter your topic:" is where you enter your topic so take out "Enter your topic:" and between " and " put for example: Welcome to HawkEE Enjoy Your Stay, and that is what will show in Your topic's also because it says "Enter your topic:" 32 time does that mean you can have 32 diffrent topics. thanks for an advice and or help
Well, that still doesn't prove a darn thing. Actually you'd better off give up the idea saying the snippet is ripped or stolen. MSL is of open source, and the code you have now can be passed down to you from another person, and that person gets it from the other, and so on and so forth. In other words, there's no way you can be certain that I own this and that.
everywhere it says "enter your topic" is actually a pop-up that comes up when activated to enter what you want to change the topic to, im sure with some work a timer could be put in but it will mean a complete scripting change. the hard part for me would be the timer, if you want it to change every couple of days automatically it would have to tie into the computer clock
if you want to just take it, put your topic in and use manually without the pop-up (right click > topic change) all you need to do is replace this exactly $+ $$?="Enter your topic:" $+ with whatever topic you want. in doing so, the topic will always be that within the scrip
