Pwntage Player

By Dabomb on Jan 24, 2006

Okay, It's alot more complicated than the last mp3 player I ever made. First, for the main dialog (opened by pressing F5) you must add songs to the songs file with the designated button. If you want any hope of the main dialog working at all, you MUST click "Turn Player On" or nothing will work. To play a song you must double click on it. To make a playlist must open the designated button. To add a song to a playlist highlight a song in the left list box and press "Add Song". To delete a song from the playlist, highlight the song in the right edit box and click delete song. To Play a playlist you must open the playlist using the button "Open a Playlist", then press "Play Playlist" when you've loaded a playlist. Double click on any song in the playlist list to skip ahead in the playlist. All the other buttons say what they do. Just so you know, this script comes with a music-serve for any songs that you have, meaning any songs you use on the player are open for anyone to download.

I think I would partially stick to the basic mp3 player outline, and maybe along the way when everything\'s peachy perfect, I\'ll add that in. Thanks for the idea though. And NoOne was correct, it wasn\'t you, it was Din1ity.

I think Dabomb was going off of Div1nity\'s post when he was saying look at a certain mp3 and compare it. And not on a comment you made.

Dabomb thats $true.. but u can make it more advanced by adding option for global advertise or somechannel advertise .. like the user enter the channel he wants to advertise in separated by ! ... #channe1!#channel2 ... etc etc that can be done using $gettok and while loops....its up to u...alot of mp3 dsnt have this feature so am telling u to do it cz it will make it somehow special

Also, as an afterthought, plz, do not advertise other mp3 scripts in a posting section for a different one. =\ That\'s flat out rude -.- just p.m the person instead of typing it in here.

Well Gex, the channel feature is a good idea, but a simple one only requiring something along the lines of:
alias start { If ($active isin %chans) { describe $chan text } }
I mean, not that hard. But I\'ll add it in l8r.

here u can download mdx > http://www.dim-bulb.net/~dragonzap/dlls/count.php?http://members.aol.com/dragonzap1/mdx-beta-0.92.zip
here is a tutorial for using mdx >
http://www.mircscripts.org/showdoc.php?type=tutorial&id=1529
and for the spam feature....i think dabomb has explained it but i will explain again....spam is to make ur mp3 tells the song title,length...etc in the channel...ud better add a custom msg availabilty and spam options for global spam, specific channel spam....eg: if the user want to spam on 3 channels only #channel1 #channel2 #channel3 .... other user want to spam on all the channels....so ud better try to make this...if u need help abt anythg pm me :)

Okay, I take that back you can\'t get a MDX from that site. I just looked it up. But if you want a MDX for your snipp PM me and I can send you one.

You can find a MDX at www.mircscripts.org (I am pretty sure) or just google it. What he means by Spam, is so that when you listen to a song it sends it out to the channels you`re currently in.

Thankz. The first version of this was crap, the %dir variable wasn\'t working for anyone except me. But I\'ll work on it and make the dialog look more tan. And where can I get mdx, and what do you mean by \"add a spam feature?\"

Who said anything about a music serv?

MDX and DCX are used to make cool looking dialogs. (like dcx better. Just wish there was a dcx studio already)

and the spam feature means to spam what song you have playing to channels.

as i said if i will review that i will give it
documentation : 4/5
functionality : 5/5
design : 4/5

1-change the design
2-use mdx will give better look
3-add a spam feature
