ReadMe

;;XCept Mp3;;

Type: Addon

Version: v1.0

;;Description;;

Themes - There are 5 themes you can set. 4 are colors, 1 is a no-theme.
My special feature for themes
I decided to create a picture that showed what colors the script would appear in, based on which theme you selected. I know that it's not as conventional as /echo, but I like it a lot more =]

You can add channels you don't want to have the message play onto, or you can turn message off.

To play a song, you must either: A) Double click on a song in the listbox of the first tab; B) Press F2 in your mIRC with the script loaded to play a song at random.

The 2nd tab holds 4 types of basic info for the mp3 file you're playing: Artist, song name, album, and genre.

The 2nd tab also holds a Mass Add feature, which allows you to add a full directory of songs into your Mp3 list. -- Be warned, though, depending on the number of files you're adding, it could lag invariably.

There are 3 ways to play your songs, Playlist - Which goes through your list of songs in descending order; Shuffle - Which plays songs randomly; or Repeat, which repeats one song over and over again.

When you use the Mute/Un-Mute option, it Mutes/Un-Mutes all of your computer as it uses the master volume control.

There is a button, when you first load the file, in the first tab of the dialog that should say "Currently: Shuffle". By clicking this, you can change the "play mode" of the mp3 script. IE: Clicking on Shuffle makes it Repeat; On Repeat makes it Playlist And on Playlist makes it Shuffle.

;;Update v2.0;;

Added in some cool new features!

-You can now search for tracks under Artist, Genre, Song, Track #, Genre, Year, and Album. (Warning: There is extreme lag on this, depending on how many mp3s you have (IE: More mp3 files, longer the search time). So I added in a progress bar/percent to tell you how close you are to done. That way, you won't think your IRC client froze.

-There is now a scrollbar at the the bottom of the dialog so you can change the position of the currently playing song.

-There is now a trackbar at the very bottom of the dialog, so you can control your volume.

-Added in 3 more Mp3 Infos into the 2nd dialog

-Conserved space by moving the Mass Add button into the Settings Tab, so that the Mp3 Info tab is Mp3 Info only.

-Converted most of the script to ID3 tags.

-Added in a webdings font where possible, all "X" buttons delete items from the list box closest to the button.

Everything in v1.0 is true, unless it has been modded in v2.0 here.

;;Update 2.1&2.2;;

Errors correct, such as directories.

;;Extracting;;

1) Extract the .zip file to anywhere in your computer, make sure you remember where that IS.

2) Enter your remotes section (alt + r) click file ---> open ---> and search for the XCeptMp3Player.ini, wherever you extracted it to.

3) Press "Yes" on the small dialog that should appear, asking if you want to run initalization commands.

4) Type /xmp3 to open the dialog, and preferably use the "Add Mass Amounts of Files to Mp3 List" button in the Settings tab, (Be warned, there is the aforementioned lag). Or, if you have a small amount of .mp3 files to add, just add them one by one.

;; Thanks ;;

Well, originally with the pictures, I was planning on having them upload from a link, so I could submit it as a snippet instead. But I doubt that\'s it\'s possible to upload pictures from a URL, at least, without a lot of hardship.
