I have a combobox that is editable

set combo [iwidgets::combobox $ftoollbl.combo -labeltext "Toolbars:" -textvariable example -foreground darkgreen -editable true -state normal -selectioncommand {::toolwind::list1on $cursor}];
eval $combo insert list 0 $listcomb2;
pack $combo -side left;
bind $combo <ButtonPress> {puts "$example"};

I put the bind before the pack, but even do i am not getting any information qhen the user hit any button and start changing the value, what i am trying to do is to have the values of the combobox to be editable, so the user can change the name but not add more to the list display
