So I wanted to make a spare parts build with stuff I had lying around. I picked up this frame for $25 on RC groups, there is one barely visible scuff on the end of one arm and the stickers are a little bit faded... pretty good deal to me!! What I had lying around was 2600kv red bottoms (attached to 30amp ESCs, DSHOT600 ready), an old broken vtx (no lights to indicated what channel or band it is on but you can click the button and find the channel eventually), an HS1177 that I had replaced with an HS1189 on another build, and for an FC some guy gave me a pair of SPracing F3 boards.

I had to purchase, in addition to the frame, the pdb and another antenna. just because I was short on antennas. Pagoda was cheap so I went for it.

I have only done a LOS flight so far, dynamic filtering is turned on and it's on stock pids. I don't plan on putting a gopro on this rig at this time so I think this will just be my relaxing freestyle beater quad. Honestly the frame is pretty light though, so it might make a good backup racer.

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
