Well it’s getting close to christmas, time to stress over gifts but not my girlfriend.
she kept asking what i want for xmas. then she said
do i want a new quadcopter? my eyes lit up and the three to four days picking parts reading reviews trying to find one store for it all. i ended up at getFPV for all my parts. now she’s happy not going crazy trying to figure what i want and i’m happy for a new build.

I will update as parts come in or when santa drops them off on christmas. so far just the frame, that i had already on the way for a feature build. (guess that came sooner then i thought)
Wet sand the edges (no dust if it’s wet) and apply superglue to the edges
added white paint to the edges and then splattered purple and white paint
going to look pretty cool with purple motors

25mm stand offs make the props very close to the frame

total weight ready to fly 542g no gopro
running dshot 1200 8k/8k

tell me what you think.

i’ve only ever had racerstar before. never had any fall. as far as these dys go so far no issues and the blheli32 software is nice. great tuning. will defiantly get these again

hey im thinking about building something like this how did the martian turn out with 25 mm standoofs, Im thinking about going to 20mm.

i mean 20mm would work but i feel like your battery maybe in danger. the 25mm puts the tips of my dal 5046c blades just over the top of the frame.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
