This was my first mini build from back in the day and now it's time to upgrade the 280mm LOS hex into a sleeper FPV cruiser.

The first thing I did was yank out the old CC3D Mini, PWM setup, but I kept the Spedix PDB and the 12amp ESC's. I then added an F3 board, SBus receiver, RunCam board camera and stackable VTX.. I do not recommend the Panda VTX and will be changing it out for something with better range.

Overall I'm happy with the outcome and glad I was able to save this old bird. I guess I'm just an old sentimental fool at heart.

Great to see a old spedix. The quad version was my first build and it's amazing how far we have come. unfortunately mine has met the big parts bin in the sky.

With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
