I'm really new to this hobby. Not new enough to not know what each of the parts does, but new enough to not know how one part affects the other. So choosing parts seemed like such a daunting task. Do I pick a frame first, or a PDB, or FC, or motors?

After looking at a few frames choices I settled on the Japalura due to the Armattan warranty on the frame and also from many good reviews online. Seeing the parts options on the website also made me hopeful that the parts were going to work together.

The total build price was less costly than shown in the Parts list below, probably due to single source purchasing through Armattan directly. The only equipment I had coming into this build was the Pagoda antenna, which I'm currently using only one of the pair for my goggles.

They were out of stock for the props at the time of ordering, so I'll need to pick up some from a local hobby store. As well as trying to find some lightweight powerful batteries.

This will be my first build and I've found a good build log to follow along with.

Wish me luck.

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
