PiroflipRC Hyperfloss 4" Ultralite build.
Was REALLY hoping to get this sub 150g, but just wasn't meant to be.. Have swapped out for a Runcam Swift Micro, and some lighter props but not able to break 150g with this one... The grip this thing has is insane, it is literally point and shoot, it stops and turns on a dime, there is ZERO slide, no matter how hard you pull.

I like how you shrink wrapped the braid of motor wires, looks really clean.

Thanks! something I decided to try on my 3" and came out really well. That's my new method for at least some kind of motor wire protection on 4in1 builds.

I'm loving that as well!!

Nice build, so clean! Have you test hovered those tri-blades yet? I found my 1407-3800kv motors got too hot to fly with Racekraft tri blades.

I'm curious about this as well. I'll be doing a 1407 3600kv 4" build and I think I'd be safest with DAL 4045 bi-blades, but I wonder if there's a good tri out there.

What lipo are you planning to use?

CTurn   Apr 29, 2017

Venom 4s 1000Mah 50c, or maybe even an 850mah. Biggest capacity I can get that's close to or under 100g.

I've been using 850mah packs and really like them. The 1000 feel a little heavy to me.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
