Ended up sticking with JST for now

I've gone through several micro AIO cameras and have finally found one that fits this build perfectly, I'll ad an image of the layout. The new AIO camera I selected just work with this build. cam in front, board in middle, antenna out back. The camera in the 2nd-4th images did not end up working out for me.

This is my first time building with an 4-1 ESC, went together clean, hoping it doesn't fry anytime soon!

one flight in, corner of frames is barely visible in the camera. it was a trick fitting the vtx + 4-1 ESC + FC + RX in the limited vertical space, but I eventually got it. the VTX is so burried that the channel will never be changed. I also hot glued !! the camera in place, to the TPU, so far it either a) did not shake during flight or b) dampened out oscillations.

The tune is really low on P gains all around so it's not quite locked in but I had to lower everything because of some mad yaw oscillations. soft mouting this lux f4 board greatly reduced/eliminated all insane oscillations. next issue is that 2 of the brand new motors have bearings that sound like shit, and 1 has mediocre bearings, and the 4th is in great condition. this contributed to the gyro noise (the solid baseplate and lack of softmounting transfered all of that to the gyro for my first LOS test)

overall I have to say this is the sexiest build I have done. AUW is 123gm, same weight as my Deathsquito. same power train, same performance, but the camera/battery/COG is more familiar to me the top cam/low battery of the other build has always felt like turning on a pendulum.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
