This quad started as an old ZMR, and it mutated into a more moden setup. The original had a ZMR 250 frame, Emax MT2204-2300kv motors, Emax 12A ESCs, a Skyline32 FC, a PZ0420m camera and a Hawkeye 200VTX. Below is the current list of parts as of April 22th, 2017.

It's so weird flying with a D4R-II, the quad doesn't do what you tell it to for what feels like a half second. SBUS changed my life.

Wow, it's hard to believe we used to run 12a ESCs on 5" rigs. That sounds pretty good. What props are you running?

A 6" ZMR?!!! I actually still have my 12a CC3D ZMR. It's mostly for nostalgia, but I also use it to train my friends and family who are curious about flying. I don't think I could ever upgrade or toss/sell it.

I can't believe you didn't dive any of those trees! Especially the one with the white bark. Oh well.

It looks a bit tail heavy from the battery. could you feel it in your flips? I saw some big wobbles at the end of your flips and thought it might be the cause, but those could also be pilot error. Cool stuff though man. Keep it up!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
