After trying to build my 3.5" using the Apex 3" pro HD clone frame, I came across another build with this exact frame. The guy who build it uses 3520 propellers, which I've planned to use too.
Fun fact: that guy didn't build the frame with the supplied standoffs and didn't use the gummies to attach the bottom plates to the side plates (or vise versa).
I've tried mounting the motors to the outer two holes, that worked for the propellers, but it didn't catch me. So it's another 3" build.
After a while, this one sitting around and no chance of flying it, I recently received some interesting parts for a couple of bucks.
Why not flying it? The technical parts where from another build, where I had to rotate the 4in1 and flip the flight controller (which wasn't the thing here, 'cause it's got a false board orientation) the power pads are orientated towards where in this build the HD board needs to be. The HD board was angled and I wasn't sure if I want to crash this guy. And I even wasn't happy with the fc2esc cables either!
Update I:
New parts? Yeah! I got a (4" racing) frame, which had a camera, a vtx and T-Motor F20 II (3250kV) and those were the parts I was interested in. The seller asked, if he should put a flight controller in the package as well, but didn't know if it works. I agreed and received a "let's build a minikwad" package, everything needed to go out flying. BUT: I am not into racing, so the frame is for sale. The motors and the stack (lastly the vtx too) moved into this frame. Now everything fits perfect.
Have to say, that this build is a bit inspired by https://rotorbuilds.com/build/15392
Update II:
I don't know why, but the caddx turtle v2 always had some picture issues (stripes), and that bugs me a lot.
But I have my LR-3inch which I don't fly as often as it deserves, which had the caddx tarsier 4k, so I took this.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
