A little late to the party, this build started out about a year ago. A seemingly endless march of home-improvment projects left this little-guy on the sidelines, but the summer heat contributed to a lot of inside-time, and a build. I was attracted to the TinyTrainer for the same reason most of us are, 3" form factor, race pedigree, and the look. My big hands didn't do me any favors in getting clean solder joints on the tiny components right away, but the multi-meter and smoke stopper both attest to the job being done to an acceptable level. My big deviation here was to use the IRC Ghost Hybrid Rx/VTx, which seems to have worked out. The wiring diagram for the Jhemcu FC/ESC was pretty lacking for what I've had access to in past builds, and IRC doesn't have a dedicated diagram for their Ghost Hybrids either, however trial and error got me in the air. I'm looking forward to better weather as it's too hot for Betaflight with core temps warnings poping up almost instantly, I think the Tiny Trainer (ENTRENADOR PEQUEÑO) will keep me throughly entertained.

-Thanks to Evan Turner at Five33 for the excellent customer service whilst recovering from a dental procedure, that was going above and beyond!

3S - You'd have to come up with a different battery cradle, or just strap it to the bottom for 4S. Not to mention that boy battery would spoil the look.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
