Got this build to come in under 18 grams dry. Used an E010 frame and removed the battery bay, then used the little pins on the side of the frame to attach a small rubber band to hold the battery on. I also replaced the stock vTX antenna with a small piece of wire similar to the way the vTX antenna is on the Crux3 FC. I'm sure range has been affected, but I built this strictly for flying around my basement Whoop course, and my living room, dining room, and kitchen so it's never far enough away from me to be an issue.

How did you get 5 min flight time? Do the silver motors pack enough punch?

Not all of my batteries give me 5 minutes but all of them get over 4 minutes. The silver motors are fine indoors but struggle outdoors in even a slight breeze.

Thanks! I fly it on Nitro Nectar Gold 250's and AKK 260's and easily get 5 minutes.

Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
