Nexus 3" Triple Stack
Build of the Nexus 3" frame (with optional landing skids and "Belly Cam" mount for a diffferent flight "perspective")
You can build this frame out as a lightweight single-stack flyer, use dual stacks, or it even has triple stack mounting! All under 250 grams AUW
This build is using triple stacks with the optional landing skids, belly cam mount, and 3d prtinted GPS/VTX antenna mount
Used the Caddx Tarsier V2 as the "Belly Cam." The Tarsier is notorious for electronic oise interference with GPS modules, so I lined the GPS /VTX anteena mount with conductive copper foil tape, soldered a ground wire to it, and ran the GPS module wires down the rear arms to the side brace, along the side brace to the front arm, then front arm into the flight controller. this kept the GPS signal wires as far away as possible from the Tarsier. I initially shielded the GPS wires, howver, that did not work. This setup works as long as after I power up quad, I turn off Tarsier for 90 seconds or so and then turn it back on. By following that sequence, the GPS amaitains sat lock.

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
