GnarlylFPV Sub Atomic

This build took a long time to finish while I waited for components. It is definitely a fun build.

Packing the receiver and VTx wasn't an issue, but could do with better isolation. I am using HappyModel 2.4GHz ExpressLRS, EP2, which is definitely plenty. Flying with 300mAh, 2S batteries which are short enough to not block the camera.

I feel I should build another one of these just in case! :)

At 47g dry weight, I get over 4 minutes with 300mAh, 2S batteries.

I'm new to fpv and drones in general and I have some questions about this build.
would I need the EUDAX Super Loud 5V Active Alarm Buzzer Beeper Tracker/ what is it?
also is this build compatible with other radio controllers or would i need to get different parts?

The buzzer is optional. It is useful to find a lost drone. It isn't necessary to build and fly the drone.

I use ExpressLRS radio, but you are free to use any radio protocol you like. Which radio controller do you have?

I don't have a radio controller yet or any drones at all but for my first build I think I'm going to get the RadioMaster TX12 Multi-Protocol OpenTX 2.4GHz RC Transmitter

Also, cool build and thanks for the feedback!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
