After quite a lot of stops and stumbles I have nearly finished my build!

I may have messed up a soldering pad on my Micro MinimOSD, I feel like it was a fault of the board but I won't deny I could be responsible too... I have left it available to replace as a result. I still need to make sure all of the components are arranged properly, cut a few servo cable wires that aren't being used. Most importantly, make sure it flies.

I would like to look into getting landing gear and an FPV camera mount for it as well. My camera almost seems too big for the frame unless you tilt it quite a bit. Can't wait to try it all!

Any luck with that?

I wasn't found the veritable information about PWR connector anywhere too. But according to pinout this connector is intended to power the Race32 FC from APM 2.x power module - kind of those Even more because Holybro Web page gave me idea that those guys are more Arducopter than Naze types. Not the worst case IMHO because that module has both battery and current monitor outputs. I was curious and ordered that module yesterday. Will told you about results when I'll get it.

Hi! Seems you have partially similar build to what I'm building now. Can you tell about how to you're connected the OSD and telemetry to Race32 FC? I have that same Race32 F303 FC and Micro MinimOSD. Race32 initially has Cleanflight SPRACINGF3 1.9.0 firmware, now it is flashed to 1.13.0. I sorted out problems with receiver connection (RadioLink AT9 with R9D receiver) at end I successfully connected it via SBUS through UART3. But I have issues with OSD and telemetry. The OSD module itself is working - I see OSD booting and overlay elements on FPV picture. Although the serial connection to Race32 MSP UART (UART1) is not working. Nor if TX and RX are swapped not if they are not swapped. Even more - when OSD is connected to FC, then Cleanflight on PC can't connect through USB to FC. Battery voltage indication is not working too. The battery "+" is connected to OSD BAT1 for displaying on screen. Although when power is on, the battery voltage on screen is dropping very fast (1 volt at 10 seconds) which is not related to real battery voltage at moment. The next is battery voltage detection in Race32 FC itself. I see, that VBAT at PWR connector must be connected to battery. Again the battery voltage in Configuration page Battery Voltage section show incorrect voltage drop which isn't related to real battery voltage at moment. So now I have no idea, where I must connect the battery to see the real voltage.

First flight today! It seemed to work great. I have a few small things left to do like cleaning up the wires and possibly rearranging the video tx. I also need to get some good small battery straps.

I didn't get to do a full FPV flight today as the sun was just about gone when I got it off the ground, but I can't wait to try it tomorrow!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
