4" Kobara ("Cobra") frame build - lovin' it! Dual-stacks (2-20x20 boards, 2-AIO boards without mounting adaptors (or 1-20x20 & 1-AIO board either position)
One of the most noticeable things on its maiden flight was just how quiet she is with these BR 1504.5 2950 Kv motos and HQ Prop 4x2.5 bi-blades! Quitest quad I own and its a 4" (i.e. not one of my many 3" builds)!

Nice build, so light. Have you tried 6s with biblades? Looks like the electronics will take it, but what about the motors?

I don't fly 6S. 4S only. Electronics can handle 6S no problem. These Kv motors can run 6S with 3" props. Probably not 4" props. MAYBE 4" bi-blades (with throttle scaling, if necessary?).

nice build!
4" but about the same weight like your 3inchers? longer blades are more silent on the same weight at low rpm, gf4023x3 might be even quieter ;-)

Thank you. Yep! This is almost exactly the same weight as the 3" Diamondback Rattler. I'm very happy with how it turned out. I can't believe how quiet it is right now. Just got some HQ4x2x3 props in. I'll have to give them a shot soon!

Yes nice build!
Have you tried the HQ props yet? Is this 3S 1504 combo any good at freestyle or is it more of a cruiser?
I have a slightly overweight 3" (120g dry) and want to convert it to 4". Right now using 1303, but really cannot decide to go 1404, 1504 or 2004.. Probably most likely 4" biblade like you, or maybe those HQ. So really curious what you think about those prop on these motors!

This is actually a 4S build. IBoth crusier & some freestyle with the bi-blades. Can use tri-blades for less crusin' & more fun!

Beautiful build! I'm currently putting together a shopping list to build something similar. I think I might use this frame. It looks great!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
