I bought The Flywoo Explorer LR and put it on a diet stock weight for it is 164.4g i managed to get it down to 145.07g.
the mount for the naked gopro. is 4.59g for a total of 149.66g with battery and camera its 286.26g
i started out by stripping out all the crap i won't use, like 3D prints, beepers, bolts, antennas, flight contoller esc stack, and decasing the vista HD system, etc..
i then began putting in the parts i wanted. a Goku f7 20amp esc flight stack, crossfire nano RX, LEDs, better GPS unit.
i made my own mounts for antennas, GPS, flight camera, all from ABS sheet plastic (not 3D printed) they are lighter weight.
its running the 2750kv 1404 NIN motors
the finished build is giving me 11 min on a 4s .850mha lipo
all bolts were replaced with M2 pan head hex bolts to reduce weight, the crossfire immortal T antenna was stripped down ftom 3.48g to 1.72g
it flys great explorer lr maiden flight

It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
