The purpose of this build was to test my new frame, the Quadifier Mamba. This one was built on a PLA frame to test it before we get carbon frames cut. The base on the carbon frames will be 3.5mm thick, the top will be 2mm thick. Since I was using a PLA frame, I decided to go for a toothpick-real 3 inch hybrid, so it doesnt have 1408s or 1104s. It has 1404s, right in the middle. The Carbon version of the frame will be something really special because it can easily take real 3 inch parts, and it can also take toothpick parts. The goal of the frame was to have a 3 inch frame as it seems to be a dying breed. I designed it from scratch and added some quadifier flare to make it look very beautiful.

Of course it has a VTX but thats not what i asked...

Apparently you didnt understand the question: Please look at the placement of the camera in relation to the upper frame. Its very likely that the frame will be shown in the cameras field of view.

I dont see why you couldnt just push the camera down. You would see arms and motors at low cam tilt but strech x be like that.

oh I misunderstood, on the production version the frame has been extended a bit to give the camera more space, there for it can be pushed down lower on the standoffs so the frame does not show up in the camera. On this 3D printed version, the camera was bumping into the stack so I had to push it up all the way.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
