I have been building ultralight 3" to 5" for a while but mainly flies traditional 5" of late for HD footage. When I saw Kababfpv's youtube about this frame, it piqued my interest especially his 2203 3000KV pancake motor. I had always wanted to get his TP3 build in the past but it was always out of stock but the Fouride +2203 were in stock so I ordered two with spare arms. I built the 5 " first and will try the 4" later.

I really enjoy it. it is pretty quiet , smooth and efficient with Gemfan 5125 with 4.5-5mins on 4s 1300mah. No major tuning needed with BF 4.2 Bidirectional D shot. Hope to get a Gopro Session mount in the future.

Here's a video of a few flight after the maiden this week. Goggles DVR with fake superview in post.

and recent flight a few weeks after build. It has survived a few crashes without broken arms.

Are you running a motor or throttle limit in Betaflight running that 5"/4S combo?

I'm surprised you are able to pull all that off with those small motors.

According to Kababfpv, his pancake motor is both suited for 3 inch Cinewhoop or light 4/5". I'm quite happy with them for the Fouride 5". Nice control low down the throttle range.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
