Decided on the SL 4 for my first build after back and forth with the folks at Catalyst, chose it over the 180 speed frame. BetaAll of the suppliers I used here I would recommend and use them again in the future. Build itself went well the soldering on the Kombini is tight but with a magnifying glass and a meter got it done. Had trouble getting Betaflight flashed with version needed for Dshot, tried removing and reinstalling drivers several times to no avail on a PC running 97, luckily had access to one running XP and that was able to flash a version that would work. Quad is up and flying will still need some PID tuning but really liking how it flies so far. Being my first quad don't have too much to base it on.

Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
