The EzRacer. This quad has been a long time coming. I got into FPV around winter of last year, and I've burned several components and already spent almost $1k on the hobby. It's way more fun than I could have anticipated. In my area, one of my chapter organizers setup a multigp track anyone could show up to and race at, and I decided to check it out. I took my toothpick and flew a few laps. Racing seemed pretty fun and cool, so I decided to build a 5" race quad. This is the result. It's pretty modern, and very light, at 238g dry. A bit heavier than I would have wanted, but still excellent nontheless. I can't wait to take this thing to a race.

Don't worry about the weight, 2207.5 motors aren't the lightest, but the performance you get back is amazing. You can get lower, but with less motor.
Don't change anything until it breaks - running cheap VTX's (and cheap Rx) works just fine, as long as they're on a solid 5V rail.

Nice first 5" - only thing I would change is the vtx. Otherwise perfect

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
