Wanted a quiet build for park flying. Real pain soldering on this board, but it flies!

9/2/2020: The Betafpv Silverware board seemed to have a bad flash, motor mapping was all wrong. Also, it just wanted to fly away. Attempted to adjust pids, but no luck. Ended up replacing with the FPVCycle 1s board. It's a great board with large soldering pads. I'm using the Dave_C_FPV Sanchez frame so the upward facing USB on this board didn't make much of a difference in this build. Also, the solder pads for the VTX/CAM aren't really through holes, the pads are too small on the underside of the board the solder from underneath. Otherwise, solid board.

The quad flies well enough, a little floaty and loose in the corners, could use a tune, but great fun in tight areas where you wouldn't fly a 5inch. Getting around 3:30-4 mins on RDQ 1S 450mah batteries. I also switched them over to BT2.0 connectors.

It's super quiet and lightweight, making it a great lunch break ripper!

My 1s build on the Sanchez also came in around 38-39g. I also build a 3mm thick 3s one with the tp3 motors and crossfire. It is 59g dry. Great build !

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
