Inspired by the performance of the betafpv 85pro2 and my search for a lighter hd recording whoop (startet originally with the Mob7HD) i found the cinecan frame which was lighter than the 85mm betafpv frame (7.7g instead of nearly 11g) and it was also capable of mounting the 1102 three-hole motors from happymodel. I swapped al the mob7hd parts to the 85mm frame and got a much better flying cine whoop (~52g without battery).

After some troubles with my turtle v2 i just installed a caddx beetlev1 aio cam for testing... what i got then was a really zippy, super efficient whoop, lighter then the 85pro2 from betafpv with the ability to fly on 2s 300mah and bt2.0 connector for nearly 4 minutes. ( Of course i added jesc 48khz with bidirectional dshot ,this makes every small build even better imo).

In terms of agility it feels like a smaller 65mm whoop ( turns on point, feeling of nearly no momentum) , perfect for narrow outdoor tracks like gardens or abandoned buildings. Its not as fast as the beta 85pro2 but i like it more:)

To save more weight you could use the eachine nano fc which weights only 3.6g (-1.0g) an pcb antenna (-0.5g) (i recommend the one from TBS) and the runcam nano3 with the mob6 canopy (-1.0g), so that the lightes possible build would be around 35g for an 2s 85mm whoop!

The flight controller already has a receiver did you add another so that you could bind with your tbs crossfire transmiter ???

I didn't use crossfire. The TBS unify Pro is a vtx for transmitting the video feed. It is possible to bind an external receiver to the fc , there are pads for, but i am not sure if tbs crossfire will work too.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
