Nice mods.
I can't tell how you re-wired the Air Unit antennas to your custom extension in the back. Have you noticed an improvement with the TrueRC Matchstick 5.8 SMA Long Antenna's?
Where is the Matek Tail Light mounted, I can't see it.
Lastly, do your trimmed ducts still have the desired effect of adding lift, or are they now simply prop guards?

I'm also thinking of testing without ducts and using a 4" prop to see if it performs.

The Antennas have extension SMA's that feed to the TPU. They are way too long! I haven't flown very far away or in any areas to test the matchsticks much. I don't get very low Mbps where I fly at all. I just wanted to get them over the battery. Matek light? I have a GPS unit that goes with the antenna mount. The ducts, which have undergone two more generations still provide thrust, but now the new version eliminates a considerable amount of sound as well. It flies smooth in the wind also. Would highly recommend.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
