After spending the last months of learning to fly with a GEPRC Phantom, I wanted to make it more like a race drone. So I made a frame design, what has a streched X and a much lower profile. I also took some T-Motor 11000KV 1103 Motors for some more speed. Equipped with the Phantom original Stack, HQ 65mm props and a Runcam Racer 2 Micro, Furious RC VTX Antenna, and TBS RX and some Iflight LED´s on the arms.
I just start this hobby, but all I can say is, this thing is flying awesome! A huge difference between the original Phantom. Easier to fly and more aggressive on the same way. I use 2S 550mAh batteries and the speed is crazy with those new motors. I really love it!

I designed this frame by myself.

Nope. Not enough space for this.

sweet looking frame! How heavy is it?

ALPHA OMEGA   May 07, 2020

Thank you! The weight is 70g - with battery 100g. The frame is made of 3mm carbon fibre. Maybe a little bit on the heavy side ;)

You should be able to go down to 2mm easily as this weight. Also Im sure if you upload the design files to thingiverse , you would have many people downloading copies and getting them cut to fly. This is a very nice looking quad. Great work. Much better than my first attempt at design !

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
