I have always been fascinated by different frames that were designed by my friend LXC. I'm always using his frames for Video projects and flying freestyle in general.

I pitched to him an idea of being able to convert my freestyle frame to a cinewhoop style frame.

And this is the result! LXC BIGGIE 4" Cinewhoop!!!

This can be used with the 4" LXC Freestyle frame. I hope he makes a 5" version in the future.

The design of the frame is very nice and yet simple. The arms are connected to the frame with 6 screws and pressnuts in the bottom plate. This will eliminate any play with the arms and will allow swapping arms with ease.

I really like the ducts as it has cut outs for the arms, and you don't need cable ties for the motor wires.

I used components of my spare race quad and converted it to 6S. I'm using a brother hobby 2306 2450kv motor with motor_output_limit to use it in 6s paired with the HQ props 4x4.5x3 (it's quire rare).

Unfortunately, full size cams are not supported if you plan to use it inside the frame. micro cams will be best for this setup.

After assembly and initial hover test, I can say that this setup is very powerful and efficient, Hope to upload a HD video soon.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
