Hi! Beautiful and clean build! I was wondering how much does it weigh with batteries? Thanks in advance for your answer!

RotorQuad Squad   Jun 11, 2017

Hey thanks! I didnt get a weight when I built it unfortunately. However Im seeing quite a few on the Catalyst Facebook page that around just shy of 250g!

What a clean finish you have there. Your quad looks great. What batteries have you been using for your 3 inch quads and have you experimented with different sizes? I am just finishing up a 3 inch build and have some Pulse 450 45C packs.

Depends on the 3". My sputnik was running these tiny little 3020 props and I used a 500mah 3s on it. On these superlights I was using an 850mah 4s. Little heavy but it handles it fine.

I got to say, I'm really liking this frame. Alittle curious on the differences between this & the horus slipstream. Any info at all?

RotorQuad Squad   Feb 18, 2017

huh they do look very similar. I will say that the horus is wayyyy heavier though.

Very Nice. I was looking at this frame but looking for some feed back on it. Amy thoughts you could share?

Love it. Amazing little frame and with the piko set up it is a rocket for sure!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
