Another build that started with a frame. It was meant to be completely different as this frame allows for dual 16mm stack. But it ended up as inverted motors build. This frame is just incredibly versatile. As it turns out to be too powerful for indoors I may put Caddx Turtle or RunCam Split on it and convert it into micro HD setup that's safe to use around people.
It flies ok, but needs some troubleshooting:

  1. Black lines start to appear on video feed to the extent that after several seconds of flight I can't see anything.
  2. Motors get hot. I checked for motor screws touching the windings as some youtube videos suggested but screws are ok. Maybe I should make some adjustments to the tune.
If you have any suggestions as to what might be causing these issues, please let me know in the comments. Thanks:)

Might not be enough air flow into your motor windings becasue of the inverted motors. Just a thought.

Also, I would try to separate the vtx and rx antennas. No, it's not what causing the black lines but it will not hurt

Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
