A second, more racing oriented build with a few differences VS the first here: https://rotorbuilds.com/build/17646

  • No 16awg wires. Original motor wires were used.
  • Back arms race leds at the bottom of the arm.
  • Some new TPU parts. An extra TPU cushions on under the motors and on the "nose" area.

All the TPU parts are available at: https://www.thingiverse.com/KrisMin/collections/pits-torque
The carbon parts of the frame are available in 5", 5/6"hybrid and 6" size.

These builds are really inspirational. I particularly like how brave you are with that V top plate, it's straight drippin'. It's like it's wearing a thong, cause' you can see the goods even with the frame still on ;)
Also: those motor wire fasteners, the 3D printed ones. These are awesome, and the ones you had on the last build were awesome as well. Hard to say which I like better, but initially i'm into the new ones more.
I think the smaller motor wires are a smart choice, but I miss the grey, it really popp'd (and i'm still not %100 sure I don't like the 3D printed fasteners you used on those more than these....).
I dig that you put the lights on the bottom of the back for more than practical purposes, I actually want them to be different colors (spectator enjoyment).
All around sexy build.

I love your analogy.
I also like the new racing build more. Its more practical while still being good to look at.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
