My goal was to build something with enough power to carry a split mini with out props in the field of view.

Weighs in at around 220 grams with a 650mah 4S battery.

I really like this build and have been using it as a base for my first build. Almost got all the parts. Two questions if you don't mind. What's mounted to the top part? I see the fpv transmitter but what's the other thing toward the top of the photo. Also, what's with all the blue tape?

FC is mounted at the top. the blue tape just keeps out mushed up grass.

Looking at using this as a guideline for my first build. There seems to be a lot of room in the frame and really light.

What did you think of that FC? Good layout? Good enough documentation? No problems getting the right target on it and co figured? Nice build!

the other user who chimed in is correct, and I agree that it is a good FC. I did have one issue with a grey screen on my video feed, but it appears to have been fixed with a cli command. I would buy it again if I built a second quad.

“If there is a delay in startup for the CLF7 target, type the commands below in the CLI
resource i2c_sda 2 none
resource i2c_scl 2 none
save
this will fix the delay start up problem”

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
