This frame is still a prototype, we expect the final version to release in mid January 2019. Check back on for more details.

As it currently stands, the frame is 1.5mm thick with mounting holes for 16x16, 20x20 and 26x26 (for beta75x and similar kits) flight controllers. This upgrade allows you to completely transfer over the electronics from your favourite whoop kit like Beta75X or Mobula7. If you wish to use ducts, simply use longer motor mounting screws and add Rakon Heli prop guards as listed in the part list.

We opted to use elasticbands to mount the battery, this way you're not limited to any particular size and shape.

Are there plans to restock this frame? If so, do you have an approximate ETA or a way I could sign up for notification via email perhaps? Thanks!

Yep, I'm waiting for the new shipment. They were supposed to ship before the factory goes on CNY holiday but I haven't heard from them this week yet. Hopefully they did, which means I'll have it sometime next week. You can sign up to our newsletter to get udpates on our stock.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
