Best way to describe this build is a HGLRC Batman 220 RTF but with low kV motors more suited for 6s than the 2306 2450kV included as stock. Here I've used the Hobbycool 2207 1700kV (A Brother Hobby R3) which is very good value - about $15 each.

My full write up on component choice is here:

and for the build itself is here:

I've maidened on 4s already and have one pack only on 6s. Needs a good tune and I'd like to get ESC telemetry working before I start thrashing it around a bit more. Frame is suprisingly good quality, electronics seem fine and the motors are typical Brother Hobby. My first time using a micro eagle and I'm in love - other than looking good in daylight I did initial FPV tests at night and can't believe how much light it lets in!! Not happy with VTX antenna popping out the top of the frame because it will break - looking for 3d printed solution that hangs off the rear standoffs. Oh yeah, motor wires are long should I wish to transfer to a 7" frame.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
