RVS Dutchman by Rotor Village. A 2.5" racing frame. It's 77g dry, and 118g using my battery of choice, a 450mah 3S. It's fast and flies really stable. The jump from 2" to 2.5" was surprisingly a big one and this frame doesn't disapoint. Also available is a 3mm base plate for added durability.

Hey man Im about to start a build on this frame and I was wondering if you went with the 6000kv or the 7500kv option for 2.5" props... Ive only built 2" micros in the past so im not sure what i need for KV... Any info appreciated. Awesome build man, cheers

Hey there. Sorry for the delayed reply. But I’ve actually ran both on the 2.5”. The 6000kv hglrc motors were great. Just a bit more tame than these. I run 3S as well. If you run 2S, definitely go for the 7500. If 3S then get whatever suits your flying style. Bat out of hell top speed or a bit more tame but still plenty of power. 2”-2.5” is a bit jump. I’ll never go back to 2”.

For the last couple years the only micro Ive been running is a 2 inch with 7500kv motors running on 3s. I had to tune for like a month to get those motors to work well on 3s as well as switching to a 1.9" diameter prop... In the end I have an absolute 2" rocket but the motors are limping along and the quad itself is barely holding together. I do plan on running 3s simply because i have the batteries already and I love BBB motors so I think the 6000kv will be a good fit... Thank so much for the info man it is appreciated!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
