Our latest attempt indoor/outdoor perfection. This frame uses our unique 3D geometry to stay incredibly stiff and provide 360deg protection at an incredible 7.5g of weight. The design is built around the best ultralight electronics on the market, and is surprisingly easy to build for its size. The fishpepper fc + esc stack and vm275t can be fully assembled on the bench before being hooked into place using an innovative soft mounting system. There's also an improved battery strap and a ziptie stress relief location for power leads. Built to spec, the HoverBot Vibe weighs 32g dry while swinging 2" props on 1103 motors. Believe me - on 2s, this little monster absolutely scoots. Thrust to weight ratio of about 7:1 as shown.

Also please let me know more about those 1103, I think they would work great on my Modulus 65 as well! The 1102 seem to be the sweet spot now but I wanna hear some specs on those!

Good idea with the prop direction - that'll save me a fair amount of lens cleaning. The motors are of my design and manufactured by BrotherHobby - they'll be in stock on hoverbot.io on 6/30. N52 arc magnets, dynamic balance, NSK bearings, 3.9g per motor.

WHAAAAA so over all I would gain 1.2g over the DYS 1102?! That is insane man, I definitely wanna try these out sometime!

And yeah, reversed props means less lens cleaning and fewer crashes. Instead pf getting sucked into something, you bounce off. Saved me from a 30ft tree disaster last week.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
