This will be my first foray into the world of APM. Below is the list of parts that I am considering for this build.

Components not listed here are the ones that I already have with me from my other builds. I have the motors listed below, which I ordered by mistake. I was wondering if this build would support them.

Any suggestions are welcome!

If this is your first foray into APM, be careful when reading through the arducopter wiki documentation. I see a good bit of it is getting updated for 3.3, which your APM kit will never be able to use.

Yes, it should support 3.3. It doesn't have as many connectors as the full size, so you need to compare and make an educated decision.

I will read up on it but just a quick quetsion...if I go for the PixHawk Lite, what else would I need to get GPS Hold and Autonomous Flight?

I believe you can use the same type of GPS that comes with the APM kit you have listed. PosHold and Auto flight modes are already part of the Arducopter system, so they worth in both APM and PixHawk flight controllers. PixHawk is the latest iteration of APM.

Are you going to get enough thrust from those motors? They seem a little underpowered for an APM build.

The motors you had previous listed? I'm not sure. You could also consider something like the F330 form factor.

That is a very good idea! I will think about that. I have a spare CC3D and a KK2.1.5 FC lying around that I could use.

It could make for a fun little FPV rig. It's a little larger than a 250, but nearly as capable in terms of speed and acro. Check this build.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
