flowride 6inch

On a 6s 1500Lipo this gets about 11min of flight time while cruising which is not enough for a long range. In my opinion a long range quad should cruise for at least 15min in order to safely cover a 10km distance.

On a 6s Lion pack (using VTC6 cells) the flight time doubles which makes it an awesome long range solution because it is lighter and more agile than a 7inch quad which you would normally need when using LiPo.

Here is what this setup can achieve with a 6s1p Lion pack (3.1km max distance, 2km max altitude, 1.2km max relative altitude).

This setup ended up on the bottom of the ocean but I've managed to recover it and was able to reuse the frame, the motors, the unify VTX and the crossfire RX. At the end of the following video you can see how it happened. Hi, this build looks amazing and your videos on aerialmedia are my Favourites out of all the ones Ive seen so far (that means very much) especcially the one named Winter to Spring.

You are running 2306 motors. Would 2407 motors work aswell and give me the same Flighttime??? Or would they draw a lot more amps? Where I fly, there are many Mountains Waterfalls....  and when flying proximity down a Waterfall for example I need the response and torque. KababFPV also recommended me larher motors than only 2306. What do you think about that?

on a 6inch frame I would personally not put larger motors as it will affect weight and flight time. it will probably fly a little bit better with larger motors (especially during dives) but it will definitly impact flight time. if dives are the most important thing for you (like diving cliffs all day long) then you could go for larger motors but if you rarely dive then I would keep them small. on a 7inch though you should definitely go with larger motors.

Hey PainFPV

I really have to say, your videos are fantastic. I just watched all your videos on youtube. I have seldomly seen cinematic footage that beautiful and such a crisp quality. It's hard to believe that you have shot this on a go pro!

Can you elaborate for example, how you have shot the my Shangri-La or the Random Beatuy video? Camera, Settings, ND filters?

Did you do a lot in post, like stabilisation, colour or other things?

thank you! I use hero6 (with an old firmware) and more recently hero7 on my FPV quads. it is very important to have a build which has minimum vibrations so that the gopro can handle them with its internal stabilization system. I rely entirely on the gopro stabilization system because post stabilization takes too much time and effort. the gopro stabilization works fine for cinematic shots (unlike aggressive frestly flying). using ND filters its a must in order to get a cinematic feel (eliminate jello and add motion blur). I always shoot in protune with low sharpness to get the best image quality for post processing. in post processing I correct the white balance whenever necessary, play with highlight and shadows when necessary, add a bit of sharpening, saturation and vibrance and that's it. I almost never use post stabilisation but in case I have a very nice shot which was not stabilized welll enough by the gopro I might add a bit of premiere warp with only 10-15% smoothness and no warpspace. and most importantly I onlly shoot when the light is good. with good light you can shoot great footage with almost any camera.

thank you! here is a good guide on how to build your own liion packs: https://blog.seidel-philipp.de/diy-build-a-longrange-lithium-ion-battery/

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
