We just updated our code snippets and all site-wide

 blocks to use [CodeMirror](http://codemirror.net). This provides a very nice syntax highlighted area to copy code from. This is just the first step in transforming our snippet editor to allow for multiple blocks of code.

There is an issue in the snippets section. The lines seperating people's post are not where they belong. They are all right below the code block as noted in this snippet of mine here ( http://www.hawkee.com/snippet/8736/ ) If you view a snippet that is longer then the code blocks becomes very long with a lot of wasted space in them. This happens in the posted code and any code posted in the replies as noted here ( http://www.hawkee.com/snippet/8444/ ).

@Scakk I don't think I see what you're seeing. Can you show me a screenshot? Also, what browser and version are you running?

Scakk  -  Apr 06, 2012

@Hawkee I use Internet Explorer 8.

This one is the space at the end of my s nippet itself.

This one is in a reply to the snippet itself

This shows the lines in the wrong places I mentioned.

@Scakk Thank you, I'll have to test this in IE8. It should be a simple fix.

Hawkee  -  Apr 06, 2012

@Scakk How is that? It should be fixed now.

Scakk  -  Apr 06, 2012

@Hawkee Looking all good. now.

Scakk  -  Apr 07, 2012

@Hawkee There is a new issue with the snippets in the snippet section now. It seems that all the snippets no matter the length are are shown in a small box with a up and down arrow and is is only 2 lines tall. That makes it very hard to see anything without having to copy and paste the entire snippet. It is the same on the forums for me.

Hawkee  -  Apr 07, 2012

@Scakk I was just working on that. Do a shift-refresh to see if its fixed.

Scakk  -  Apr 07, 2012

No change. I get this error once it refreshes.

@Scakk Thank you. That was a debugging call. I've removed it. Just be sure you clear your cache and refresh your javascript.

@Hawkee We have an issue with your code boxes on the forums. http://www.hawkee.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=23760 The page gets stretched when the code in the code box is wider than the code box itself and you have to scroll to the right in the code box.

Hawkee  -  Apr 13, 2012

@Scakk Thank you. That's apparently only an IE8 problem and its related to how it handles tables. I'll see if I can find a quick fix for it, but it may have to wait until I finish the upcoming Follow feature.

There seems to be a problem with the code boxes overlapping the 'navigation bar' menus (not sure what you call it). It doesn't appear to happen with quote boxes.

I'm using Firefox 11.0, by the way.

@Meta Thank you. We're planning to redo the header so that will be fixed.
