No to put a . before mode since it won't silence anything. Also: '% [ $+ autovoice. $+ [ $chan ] ]' can be done like this: '%autovoice $+ [ $chan ]' or '$+(%autovoice,$chan)'.
And why won't you just give everybody autovoice access using ChanServ?
